Do you want to sit in a classroom with your student? How about experiencing class without all the work. Attend class with your student and see first-hand who’s teaching them! Please have your WVU student check with his or her instructor in advance.
Student Recreation Center Open to Families

Enjoy a variety of recreational opportunities through the Student Recreation Center during this weekend. Enjoy swimming, basketball, the climbing wall or choose a group fitness class such as yoga, spinning or Zumba. Hall of Traditions

The WVU Hall of Traditions houses trophies, memorabilia and tributes to some of WVU’s greatest players. There is also a room to view the greatest moments in Mountaineer Football history. Stop by the Milan Puskar Center on the Evansdale campus and check it out.

In conjunction with American Idol, FOX-46, and Coca-Cola, Mountaineer Idol features our very own WVU talented students. Mountaineer Idol Gives Back, on October 2th only, will partner with WVU Children’s Hospital and Jessi’s Pals. The mission of Jessi’s Pals is to provide every child at WVU Children’s Hospital with a stuffed animal. The program was launched by Jessica Lynch, a West Virginia soldier who became known to the world when she was injured and held as a prisoner of war in Iraq. We encourage each family to bring at least one stuffed animal with you to donate to Jessi’s Pals. Or bring an empty Coke bottle (or Coke product bottle) and Coke will donate $5.00 for each to Jessi’s Pals. Jessica Lynch will be a “celebrity judge” for Mountaineer Idol. A silent auction, featuring items from American Idol winners, judges, and finalists will also be held to provide additional dollars to Jessi’s Pals and WVU Children’s Hospital.
