General Parking Information
All
WVU decal parking lots (Blue signs that say "Area #") that are not noted
as prohibited 24/7, will be free and open to Fall Family Weekend visitors after
4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27 (no permits will be necessary.) The upper level
of the Mountainlair parking garage will be free and unrestricted after 5:00 p.m.
on Friday and the entire day on Saturday and Sunday, but the lower level of the
Mountainlair garage is gated and restricted to permit holders only throughout the entire
weekend.
The Student Recreation Center lot will be free and open to Fall Family Weekend
visitors after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28.
And the Short Term lots near Evansdale Crossing will be open to visitors after
5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27 and all day on Saturday, September 28.

PRT Service
The PRT will be FREE to parents and students on Friday, September 27 from 6:30 a.m. – 10:15 p.m. and on Saturday, September 28 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00pm. The PRT does not run on Sundays.
Mountain Line Bus Service
The Mountain Line Transit Authority is the public transportation mode for all of Monongalia County. Students ride FREE with their ID. For more information call (304) 291-RIDE or visit the website at https://transportation.wvu.edu/bus-services/mountain-line.
Coliseum Parking
Visitors can park here for free most days. Restrictions may exist prior to football games, basketball games and other special events. No overnight parking is allowed in the Coliseum lot.
Parking in Downtown Morgantown
All types of parking are available in Downtown Morgantown. There are several metered
parking lots and two hourly-rate garages as well as street parking on High Street.
