It’s hard to believe that the fall semester is almost here. As we look ahead to the beginning of the new semester, Fall Family Weekend is on the minds of many families.
As the Vice President for Student Affairs, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us for a very special event—Fall Family Weekend. This special event on campus is scheduled for October 17-19, 2008, and offers you and your student an exciting and memorable WVU experience.
The Mountaineer Parents Club staff, in conjunction with various other University units, has been busy planning a great schedule of events for you and your students. Many opportunities will be available while visiting Morgantown. You will be on campus at a great time because West Virginia’s foliage will be at its peak! The events will kick off the evening of Friday, October 17. I hope you will be able to join us for this very special weekend on campus.
Remember that at West Virginia University, students and their families are our number-one priority. We provide both caring faculty mentors and state-of-the-art learning facilities.
