The fall semester is fully underway and students are getting settled in their new community.
As the Vice President for Student Affairs, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us for a very special event this coming semester. Fall Family Weekend is scheduled for October 2-4, 2009, and offers you and your student an exciting and memorable WVU experience.
The Mountaineer Parents Club staff, in conjunction with various other University units, are busy planning a great schedule of events for you and your student. Many opportunities will be available while visiting Morgantown. You will be on campus at a great time because West Virginia’s foliage will be at its peak! The events will kick off the evening of Friday, October 2. I hope you will be able to join us for this very special weekend on campus.
Remember that at West Virginia University, students and their families are our number-one priority. We provide both caring faculty mentors and state-of-the art learning facilities.
